31st IEEE/ACIS International Summer Conference on Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Networking and Parallel/Distributed Computing
Postponed until November 8-9, 2025
Xi’an, China
This interdisciplinary session aims to explore the cutting-edge advancements and applications at the intersection of urban science, artificial intelligence, and geospatial technology. As cities generate massive, dynamic, and heterogeneous spatiotemporal data from sensors, IoT devices, satellites, and GPS, traditional analytical methods are increasingly inadequate. This session will bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss how novel computational paradigms—such as AI, machine learning, deep learning, and large-scale spatiotemporal analytics—are transforming our ability to understand, model, and optimize complex urban systems. We will delve into the entire data lifecycle: from the acquisition and integration of multi-source data to the development of sophisticated models for prediction, simulation, and decision-support. The goal is to foster dialogue on overcoming the challenges of data heterogeneity, scalability, and model generalizability, and to chart a course toward more responsive, resilient, and intelligent urban environments.
